Access to credit facilities
22 - It is possible to have access to credit facilities for a Gestedi´s house?
1 - No. It is possible to execute any architecture project. What is even better, with light steel framing, the designer will have much more freedom to create and design it.
2 - Yes. We rely on the support of a highly skilled team of architects and designers specialized in light steel framing and attentive to the clients’ wishes.
3 - No, with the exception of stability and termal calculus’ projects. Architecture projects may easily be converted into light steel framing.
4 - Our team of engineers specialized in calculus’ conversion. In a few weeks the projects will be ready for the authorities.
5 - Our technicians can provide that service; however, the client may also hire other companies. Water, gas, electricity, sewage and other specific projects have to comply with local requirements.
6 - Yes. We only have to analyze the architecture of your house while taking maximum advantage of the already existing structures. The client only has to present the project to local authorities.
7 - Yes. For that purpose, you only have to contact us with at least the architecture project. Within one week we provide an estimate.
8 - Exactly according to your dreams. Our houses are not different from all others in architecture or finishing materials. They are different in the atmosphere, comfort and satisfaction of the owners, our best allies.
9 - No. The steel used in Light Steel Framing is cold-formed galvanized steel, complying with the most recent industrial requirements – Z275 galvanized steel with anti-corrosion properties, assuring a useful lifespan of hundreds of years since it is not exposed to weather conditions.
10 - Very simple. We start with a concrete slab, as all the other houses. Profiles are then fixed at the concrete with special anchors, using an insulating screen between both materials. Profiles are fixed according to rigorous schemes in order to balance loads and sustain the whole structure.
11 - Absolutely. The concrete slab will respect all security norms and insulating procedures to assure the necessary quality of the buildingo.
12 - Steel, OSB, rock wool and gypsum, as the whole building. Carefully calculated profiles are fixed and supported by walls. In the openings between profiles we install water pipelines, sewage, electricity, central vacuum cleaning, among others, similarly to the other vertical walls.
13 - No. However, we always advise the use of a good window framing system to guarantee the thermal and acoustic insulating levels offered by our houses. PVC window framing with double glass reinforced with steel may be one of the options. Besides having a long life, PVC is 100% recyclable.
14 - Yes, as long as it does not collide with structural walls, also a condition for traditional construction. It is extremely easy to remove, change or add an internal wall, adapting the area to the preferences of the owners.
15 - All you want. There are specific butterfly screws which allow us to hang a painting safely with minimum damage to the wall. Gypsum can stand up to 80 kg with no cracks. This operation can be optimized if we calculate where a steel profile is using a special gadget offered to our clients.
16 - Gypsum is very easy to handle due to its light weight, permitting the application of any finishing material normally used in construction. In kitchens and toilets we use waterproof gypsum, later covered with tiles or other material. Floors are prepared to receive any material, from wood till stone, cork or ceramic tiles.
17 - The concrete slab is ready to receive all sewage pipes. Since there is no need to open holes, it is easy and fast to fix all necessary pipes between the profiles (water, electricity, central vacuum cleaning, central heating, etc.). There are several options regarding piping systems. Polypropylene is one of them: it eliminates corrosion with thermo-galvanized junctions, enduring 100ºC with a 50-year guarantee.
18 - Go and find a recipient! Water will appear automatically, allowing you to act fast. In regular homes funguses will only make themselves visible after a 6-month or more period of water leaking and we have no idea where the source of the problem is. Here the only thing you have to do is to remove the damaged gypsum, repair the pipe and restore the wall just as it was before.
19 - Yes. Any of the systems will result in minimum losses and maximum savings of energy. Gestedi’s houses are naturally acclimated and balanced. The option is yours.
20 - You will always be safer inside a Light Steel Framing house. As the walls constitute the structure of the building, they avoid concentration of loads in scattered pillars. Likewise, the connections of structures with galvanized steel crews eliminate cracking points. The building adapts itself to the phenomenon, balancing its loads. It can move, it can even be damaged in some parts, but it will not fall apart.
21 - The materials used by the Light Steel Framing system are classified as M0 or M1, meaning that they do not burn or are self-extinguishing. In case of fire, laboratory experiences document a resistance of more 40 minutes when compared to traditional buildings.
22 - Yes, complying with the same requirements of all other construction methods. In addition, a Light Steel Framing house benefits from lower insurance premiums since it uses high resistance materials.
