Security
One of the first questions normally posed to light gauge steel framing builders and contractors is related to security. The weight of bricks and concrete compared ro light steel is obvious and that fact may give rise to doubts regarding the resistance os our homes.>>

It is therefore necessary to explain that steel and its screwing systems totally guarantee the stability of the building, which, in fact, is similar to the security of cement and brick buildings, with some advantages added.>>

If the resistance of a traditional building is due to the use of iron inside the cement resulting in pillars and studs, our homes don’t have three, four, or five pillars; instead, they have dozens of pillars embodied in the steel profiles separated by 60 centimetres or even less. We have tons of steel and thousands of screws, allowing for the steel structure to distribute all loads and work as a birdcage ensuring exceptional anti-seismic properties to the building.>>

Comfort, thermal and acoustic isolation
Gestedi´s homes offer you a balanced internal temperature all year round, providing maximum comfort to its inhabitants.>>

The materials used should work as a shield against temperature variations, minimizing thermal bridges. The isolation keeps the internal temperature regardless of external weather conditions and enabling the building to bread freely.>>

Gestedi’s homes are completely isolated from the exterior with gypsum, rock wool, OSB, expanded polystyrene, polymeric nets and vapour barriers.

The rock wool and the polystyrene will confer acoustic and exquisite thermal properties to the building.>>
